James Dougan is currently a Sports and Business undergraduate at the University of Stirling where he is about to complete his BA (Hons) degree

We are delighted to introduce James and welcome him to Stirling Massage Clinic. James is currently a Sports and Business undergraduate at the University of Stirling where he is about to complete his BA (Hons) degree and is also a graduate of Glasgow City college where he studied Fitness, Health and Exercise and Scottish massage schools where he graduated in Swedish massage.

He is currently studying for his Sports and Remedial massage diploma and will qualify in April 2024. Having competed at elite level for Scotland around the world as a junior squash player he sustained a serious back injury at 17 which lead to a couple of years of intensive rehabilitation and this is when he realised how important massage can be in the recovery process as well as the positive impact it can have on performance and in maintaining a healthy lifestyle in general.

In addition to being a Swedish massage therapist, he is currently the Head Squash coach at Bridge of Allan Sports club where part of his role is to support and develop both junior and senior players through to national level. James is available to see clients for Swedish massage by appointment.
