Ross Clark is a distinguished graduate of the Master in Osteopathy (MOst) program at Swansea University, where he achieved his qualification with distinction. Ross’s career began in 2013 when he attained an ITEC Diploma in Complementary Therapies from Carnegie College. This nine-month course encompassed various practical and theoretical components, including therapeutic massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, alongside anatomy and physiology.
After graduating from Carnegie College, Ross pursued studies in sports and remedial therapy at the Western School of Massage at Glasgow Caledonian University. Upon graduating in 2016, he began working extensively as a sports and remedial therapist throughout the Stirlingshire area.
Ross continued to hone his skills by participating in advanced remedial workshops at the Western School of Massage, with John Gibbons at Oxford University, and Core Elements in Swindon. After collaborating with John Gibbons, he decided to enroll in the MOst program at Swansea University.
The advanced four-year degree equipped Ross with the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to become an osteopath. The course, approved by the General Osteopathic Council (GOSC), is renowned for its comprehensive curriculum that includes osteopathic philosophy, anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and osteopathic techniques. In addition to academic studies, students are required to achieve 1200 hours of clinical placements within the School of Health and Social Care and integrated NHS settings, such as Harbourside Health Centre.
Ross is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. He leverages his extensive background to effectively diagnose, treat, and educate patients, guiding them on their path to optimal health and well-being. His clinical practice is characterized by a holistic approach, combining manual therapy, tailored exercises, rehabilitation, and advice.
