James Dougan is a graduate of the University of Stirling with a First-Class BA (Hons) in Sports and Business.
We are delighted to welcome James Dougan to Stirling Massage Clinic. A recent graduate of the University of Stirling with a First-Class BA (Hons) in Sports and Business, James also holds credentials from Glasgow City College in Fitness, Health, and Exercise. Additionally, he has completed extensive training in Swedish Massage and Remedial and Sports Massage wit Scottish Massage Schools.Having competed at elite level for Scotland around the world as a squash player he sustained a serious back injury at 18 which lead to a couple of years of intensive rehabilitation and this is when he realised how important massage can be in the recovery process as well as the positive impact it can have on performance and in maintaining a healthy lifestyle in general.In addition to being a Remedial and Sports Massage Therapist, he is currently the Head Squash coach at Bridge of Allan Sports Club where part of his role is to support and develop both junior and senior players through to national level.
