STIRLING SPORTS MASSAGE

A way of enabling optimum performance and reducing likelihood of injury pre and post event.

Our Stirling Sports Massage Clinic employs techniques that involve the manipulation of soft tissue and mobilization of joints, particularly designed to benefit a person engaged in regular physical activity, whether they are training for a specific event or just trying to keep themselves fit. Many of our clients understand the benefits of prevention and therefore undertake regular treatments periodically throughout the year so that they can continue participating in the sports they love, without injury.

Do you have a sports injury and need rehabilitation?

It is not uncommon for a sports massage to be uncomfortable for clients at times , however the aim is to improve circulation and speed up the removal of natural toxins to allow the body to function at its optimum level.

We have a huge bank of sportsmen and woman who use our services regularly so that they can achieve their goals with the minimum of injuries. If an injury does occur then sports massage is the best way, along with physiotherapy, to ensure that any rehabilitation takes places as quickly as possible.

  • I have been a client of Simons for many years and he has helped both myself and my family with numerous aches and pains relating to park runs, 10ks, triathlons and also marathon training. He works on the basis that prevention is better than cure, identifying any potential problems before they arise and his skills have ensured that we have been able to compete regularly over the years with the minimum of injuries.. He is an essential part of our training plan!

  • Simon is always professional and very good company.  He has a huge amount of experience and knowledge not only in the field of Sports massage but in the area of health and wellbeing in general. He regularly goes that extra mile for his clients, as do his team.  Simon was also able to convince my partner, who was initially sceptical about therapeutic treatments, of the benefits of deep tissue massage after a long day at work.  My partner is an orthopedic surgeon and is often standing in theatre for long periods of time.As well as treatment for sports injuries, Simon offers a range of alternative, therapies including Swedish massage, Reflexology, Clinical Aromatherapy in addition to Hopi candles and Hot Stone massage. I highly recommend Simon and his team. R. Macqueen. Nurse Stirling

  • Having enjoyed massages for many years, I am particularly impressed with Shelagh’s high level of skill and professionalism. I believe that it is important to keep the body maintained to prevent aches and pains progressing to long-term difficulties, and this is exactly what Shelagh does. Her competent hands unfurls the knots and soothes the pain of a body under stress. I always look forward to my appointment, and the feeling of floating home afterwards. Therefore I thoroughly recommend Shelagh to you.
